OUR STORY

      Camille grew up in and around the animal husbandry industry.  Her love of animals led her to follow in those footsteps. White River Valley Kennel officially started in 2013 as a concept.  We wanted to make sure that every person got the dog that was perfectly suited for them.  We have studied canine genetics, canine reproduction, diet and nutrition, genetic diseases, whelping and labor procedures, puppy development, training and behavioural and breeding ethics for almost 10 years.

     Now let's be honest.  Dachshunds may just be the perfect dog.  Incredibly smart, loyal, and affectionate.  Natural watchdogs disguised as miniature clowns.  Completely at home on the farm, the suburbs or an apartment in the city, their energy is only surpassed by their love of cuddling up on your lap.
